This all-rounder rides easily upwind, has an easy relaunch, and helps beginners progress as quickly as possible. Advanced kiters can really push the kite. If it’s windy, go for big kiteloops and high jumps. Is there big swell predicted? Grab your surfboard and rip all kinds of waves. Flat water? Even an unhooked freestyle session is possible on the new Reedin Super Model HTF.<\/p>\n So what exactly has changed about the Super Model? Last year, the HTF frame was introduced for the first time. This means that in the construction of the leading edge and struts of the Super Model, different types of dacron are used for HTF. In addition to the standard 300 gr Denier material (black), a lighter and more flexible 150 Denier Flex Lite (white) leading edge material is used. By doing this, the kite can torsion better. For this fifth version, the sections where the unique Flex Lite material is used has been increased, making the kite even faster and more direct. The flex struts are made of a new material (90gsm) that is lighter in weight and brings even more flex, while maintaining durability and strength. The bridles have been rearranged, and 4 additional attachments have been added. Thanks to these extra attachment points, the kite feels even more stable when powered and when you loop the kite.<\/p>\n The combination of strategic reinforcements, new construction techniques, bladders, and a renewed bridle system together make the new Super Model 15% lighter than its predecessor. For example, the 9-meter is 400g lighter – and that’s noticeable! The kite flies better, shoots back up faster after, for example, a kiteloop or a downloop, and the low-wind performance is better than ever this year.<\/p>\n The larger sizes (12m and larger) have been updated this year with wider wingtips. These wider wingtips ensure that the larger sizes turn faster and feel more direct. For the 14m and the 16m, the leading edge has also been redesigned.
