📘 How to choose — your buying guide
The right kite depends on your style (freeride, wave, freestyle), your level, your weight and your spot's wind range.
What size?
By weight and wind. Reference for 75–85 kg:
- Light wind (12–18 knots): 10 – 12 m²
- Medium wind (18–25 knots): 8 – 9 m²
- Strong wind (25+ knots): 6 – 7 m²
Most riders own 2 to 3 sizes (e.g. 8 / 12 m²) to cover their spot year-round.
The F-ONE range
- BANDIT: the icon — all-around freeride, wave and big air. The Swiss-army knife, ideal for most riders.
- BANDIT S: the wave / strapless specialist — fast pivot and perfect drift.
- BREEZE: light wind and foil — very light single-strut, takes off in almost nothing.
- DIABLO: freestyle / wakestyle — powerful, clean pop.
- WTF?!: hardcore freestyle for the top level.
Beginner: where to start?
A BANDIT in the right size covers everything and forgives mistakes — the safe choice to learn. Pair it with a suitable bar and ideally a few lessons.
We'll help you with size and model to match your spot and level.
