How to choose your F-ONE foil mast
The mast connects your board to the foil: its length and material radically change the ride.
What length?
- Short (75–82 cm): safer and easier, ideal for shallow water, learning and small waves.
- 85 cm: the versatile default, a good compromise for most riders.
- Long (90 cm+): more margin before breaching, better control in chop, at speed and upwind. For experienced riders.
Aluminium or carbon?
- Aluminium: tough and affordable, a bit heavier and softer — perfect to start.
- Carbon (incl. high modulus HM): stiff and light, direct transmission and better efficiency — to progress and perform.
Check the connection compatibility (Monobloc, plate, deep tuttle) between your mast, foil and board.
