The HALO 2.0 continues to offer our patented Adaptive Shell technology in a harness you can trust. Following the recall of these parts, the Adaptive Skin, the Pivot Inter and the Pivot Exter have been reworked to withstand much higher loads without compromising comfort. Because your safety is our priority, extensive testing was carried out in the factory, in the water and in our office laboratory, following the same protocol as the ISO Quick-Release standard.

The HALO 2.0 still features our patented Adaptive Shell technology, in a harness you can trust. Following the recall of these parts, the Adaptive Skin, the Pivot Inter and the Pivot Exter have been reworked to deliver much higher strength without compromising comfort. As your safety is our priority, extensive testing was carried out at the factory, in the water and in our office laboratory, following the same protocol as for the ISO Quick-Release standard.
The Halo 2.0 carries over the two founding principles of our Halo range:
Softshell
A softshell adapts perfectly to the rider's shape and movements. But it deforms under the pull of the kite: the rider's sides get compressed. Good adaptability, then, but little support.
Hardshell
A hardshell does not deform under the pull of the kite: the rider's sides are not compressed. But it offers no adaptability to shape or movement. Very good support, then, but little adaptability.
By separating the load-management and comfort functions, we created a harness that fits your shape and your movements perfectly while delivering unmatched support.
- Adaptive Skin
- Hardshell
- Softshell
- ARC spreader bar
Adaptive Shell
Our R&D approach is to build the best possible product, so we set out to combine the advantages of both existing technologies while removing their drawbacks. That is how the Adaptive Shell was born. This patented technology is made up of two main parts: the Adaptive Skin and the Hardshell.
Adaptive Skin
The Adaptive Skin is a supportive skin made from a flexible material, giving the rider maximum adaptability and freedom of movement. It sits directly against the body; its role is comfort.
Hardshell
The Hardshell is a rigid arc; it stops the harness from folding and compressing the rider's body under the kite's high load. It touches neither the rider nor the back of the Adaptive Skin; its role is to handle the mechanical forces the harness takes.
Durability
A product is only as durable as its least durable component. The parts of a harness are often not replaceable (stitched webbing, bonded foams, etc.) and even less recyclable, so a worn or damaged part can force you to bin the whole product. To reduce our carbon footprint and offer our customers a better service, every component of the HALO is assembled without glue or stitching, so all of them are easy to replace. We keep spare parts in stock and can replace each one.
The ARC spreader bar, the sliding rope and the kite knife are included with your purchase.
Direct contact
Thanks to our Adaptive Shell technology, and in particular to the highly adaptable Skin, thick foam is no longer needed for comfort. The HALO's ultra-thin neoprene foam brings several advantages over a conventional harness:
. a more direct feel
. a less bulky contact
. lighter, even once in the water
Sizing
To improve the customer experience, we added two sizes: S+ and M+. These are the standard S and M harnesses fitted with longer spreader bars.
Why? Bodies come in different shapes:
. rounder (someone with a fuller belly)
. more oval (someone with wide hips)
For the same waist measurement, then, we are dealing with two completely different builds. With their longer spreader bars, the S+ and M+ sizes are aimed at people with wider hips. See our size chart for more information.
Leash attachment
Our kite leash attachment sits at the front of the harness, giving easy, direct access to the release in case of danger. Fitted to the right-hand webbing as standard, the ring can easily be moved to the left-hand webbing.
W A R N I N G : NAISH-branded leashes do not fit the size of our ring, which can be a hazard when releasing. We are working on a new version.
ARC spreader bar
The ARC is a new-generation spreader bar developed to deliver a more precise and comfortable ride.

A complete kitesurf kit means a kite + bar, a board, a harness and the safety gear. Here's how to choose each piece to start.
A versatile, forgiving BANDIT is the reference to learn on. Size depends on weight and wind — ideally 2 sizes. See the kite guide →
To start, a rather large board (≈ 138–145 cm depending on weight): it planes early and forgives — you get going and ride upwind more easily.
Bar with a quick-release, a leash, and above all lessons with a school: kiting is learned supervised — the key to safe progress.
We'll equip you from A to Z and advise you by level and spot.
