The HORIZON II is dedicated to big air and high-performance freeride. An incredible amount of R&D went into every detail of how it rides, to bring a new level of control and comfort and new heights to your big air game, and as much care went into the graphics and the build as into the countless test sessions. The HORIZON II shares a similar outline and rocker curve with the POLAR II, which lets it pass smoothly through any kind of chop. That not only means excellent knee comfort in every situation, it also makes take-off easier and delivers soft landings. An anti-negative-flex stringer runs the full length of the board and adds control on landings: it is made from flax fibres that spring back and prevent the board from diving on fast landings. Unlike the POLAR II, the flex is slightly stiffer, just enough to load your edge on the biggest jumps but forgiving enough to absorb heavy impacts. The new 3D top deck construction adds a noticeably more responsive feel on top of that.

To start, a rather large board (≈ 138–145 cm depending on weight): it planes early and forgives — you get going and ride upwind more easily.
