The fin attaches through its heel into a box that sits against the top of the board. What makes the system distinctive is that the screw is not built into the thickness of the fin, so the fins can stay thin and create less drag. Fin and box sandwich the board, which can therefore stay slim and keep all of its flex. The flex of our UNIBOX fins is unique on a twintip: the boards ride more smoothly, including on landings, and are less prone to letting go. This is the 35 mm version in Slate.
