Pump Foil Switzerland: Boards, Foils and Packs

Pump foiling means flying without wind, powered only by pumping, starting from a pontoon (dock start). Indiana, the Swiss brand, has made it a speciality, with a complete range of boards, foils and packs. Pump foil boards

To learn: the Indiana 105 Pump Foil, in fibreglass, designed for beginners and schools who want a tough board to learn on.
Pump Foil Carbon (83, 95, 105, 115): stability, control and secure foot placement, for pump foiling and dock starts.
Magic and Magic HD (83 and 95): in PMI foam; Indiana describes the 83 Magic as the lightest production pump foil board on the market, for intermediate to advanced riders.
Signature models: Steeve Fleury's Le Doigt 3'7 and 3'9, dedicated to pumping (the 3'9 for stronger wind and surf foil), and Sarah Spalinger's Butterfly 3'4, from the pontoon or behind the boat. Plus the Hydro Skate 96 Magic HD.

Pump foil foils

Manta XL: very early lift, long pumping sessions, stable and forgiving flight at low speed (complete aluminium foil or front wing only).
Condor: high aspect, for glide, lift and endurance; it was on the Condor XL that Indiana ambassador Nicolas Iten set the world record, pumping for more than four hours.
Barracuda: high aspect focused on efficiency and speed, for experienced riders (Barracuda XL Complete Carbon).
North Sonar P1800: a front wing from North's P series, for pumping, dock starts and very light wind (see the product).

Where to start?

The easiest way is to start with a discovery session, then get a tough board and a very high-lift foil: exactly what the Pump Pack 105 + Manta XL offers. As you progress, move to a smaller carbon or Magic board and a high-aspect foil (Condor, then Barracuda) to pump longer and faster.
