Wingfoil boards
Volume decides how comfortable your starts are; length and width decide how forgiving the board is once flying.
Which volume for your weight?
To start out, count your body weight in kilos plus 25 to 40 litres: the board floats you at a standstill and you have time to handle the wing. As you progress you move down towards your body weight, then below it once pumping is dialled. Too little volume turns every start into a struggle; too much becomes unwieldy in flight.

Carbon or standard construction?
Carbon means lighter and stiffer: pumping gets sharper and the board more responsive. Standard construction gives the same shape for markedly less, with a little more weight.

How to choose your F-ONE wingfoil board
On a wingfoil board, volume is the number-one criterion: it determines how easily you stand up and how stable the start is.
What volume? (by level)
- Beginner: your weight (kg) + 30 to 40 L. E.g. 80 kg → 110–120 L. You start floating, seated or kneeling.
- Intermediate: weight + 10 to 20 L.
- Advanced / competitor: weight ± 0 or below (sinker boards, water start).
The F-ONE range

- ROCKET WING-S: more compact and performance-oriented, short outline for experienced riders.
- ROCKET ASC: geared towards performance and glide.

Width, outline & construction
A wide board is more stable at the start; a narrow, short board is more agile in flight. For construction, carbon makes it lighter and livelier (better pumping); bamboo/PVC builds offer great value and toughness to start.
