A complete kitesurf kit means a kite + bar, a board, a harness and the safety gear. Here's how to choose each piece to start.
The kite
A versatile, forgiving BANDIT is the reference to learn on. Size depends on weight and wind — ideally 2 sizes. See the kite guide →
The board (twintip)
To start, a rather large board (≈ 138–145 cm depending on weight): it planes early and forgives — you get going and ride upwind more easily.
The harness
- Seat harness: support and comfort, doesn't ride up — ideal for beginners.
- Waist harness: more freedom and mobility — for progressing riders.
Safety — non-negotiable
Bar with a quick-release, a leash, and above all lessons with a school: kiting is learned supervised — the key to safe progress.

CARBON BOOM – STRIKE V4

Pour ceux qui ont besoin de liberté, le Boom Carbone permet de positionner ses mains de façon totalement libre. C’est une option parfaite pour le freestyle. Relié à la sangle de la wing par une pièce rigide, ce boom fixe permet une navigation intuitive et engagée tout en contrôle et précision, ainsi qu’une prise en main ergonomique et un pumping efficace.
Ultra léger et rigide, le boom est fabriqué à partir d’un tube en carbone pre-preg avec une couche en EVA pour une meilleure préhension. Il est également doté de bumpers en EVA sur les angles afin de protéger le rider et l’équipement des chocs.
Chaque taille de wing est associée à une taille de boom correspondante.

Carbon Boom – Strike V.4:

Verbunden mit dem Gurtband des Wings durch eine harte Basis, ermöglicht dieser feste Boom eine intuitive und engagierte Fahrt mit vollständiger Kontrolle und Präzision sowie eine ergonomische Handhabung und effizientes Pumpen. Ultra-leicht und steif, ist der Boom aus einem vorgefertigten ovalen Karbonrohr und EVA-Griff gebaut. Er verfügt auch über EVA-Stoßfänger an allen Winkeln, um sowohl den Fahrer als auch die Ausrüstung vor Stößen zu schützen.
