📘 How to choose — your buying guide
On a wingfoil board, volume is the number-one criterion: it determines how easily you stand up and how stable the start is.
What volume? (by level)
- Beginner: your weight (kg) + 30 to 40 L. E.g. 80 kg → 110–120 L. You start floating, seated or kneeling.
- Intermediate: weight + 10 to 20 L.
- Advanced / competitor: weight ± 0 or below (sinker boards, water start).

Width, outline & construction
A wide board is more stable at the start; a narrow, short board is more agile in flight. For construction, carbon makes it lighter and livelier (better pumping); bamboo/PVC builds offer great value and toughness to start.

Eine super Kombi für den Wingfoil Anfänger.
Die Kombination von dem m118L Flatwater Allround Board und dem 1100P Foil ist optimal für den Wingfoil Anfänger:
Das Board: Das mittlere der drei Flatwater/Allround Wing Foil Boards mit einem Volumen von 118 Litern von Shaper Andi Widmann ist für ambitionierte Rider mit etwas mehr Gewicht konzipiert. Das Flatwater/Allround Wing Foil Board ist ideal ausbalanciert und konzipiert um Fahrspass und schnelle Fortschritte zu garantieren. Im Fokus stehen damit Stabilität, schnelles und angenehmes Angleiten und Abheben sowie gute Touchdown-Recovery Eigenschaften. Um diese Eigenschaften in ein Brett zu packen hat Andi Widmann meisterliche Arbeit geleistet.
Die kompakte Outline, zentriertes Volumen, eine leichte V-Bug Konkave, abgeneigte Bevels im Bug sowie die senkrechten Rails, bringen in Kombination vereint genau diese Eigenschaften auf Wasser.
Die Boards sind mit V-Straps ausgestattet, um den Vorderfuss so nah wie möglich an der Mittellinie zu positionieren. Die Montage ist sehr einfach und das Gewicht der Fussschlaufen sehr niedrig. Mit dem Tragegriff an der Unterseite des Boards lässt sich das Board leicht tragen und den Wing vom Foil fernhalten. Die Nose Handle-Option macht das Ziehen des Boards durch den Shore Break einfach und sicher. Der EVA-Pad mit Crocodile Groove bietet sicheren Halt und vermeidet Schürfungen an den Knien. Die Full Carbon Sandwich-Konstruktion bietet eine perfekte Balance zwischen Haltbarkeit und Leichtigkeit.
Das Foil:
Das Foil, das den Dockstart-Boom auslöste. Der 1100 P war das erste grosse kommerzielle Dockstart/Pump Foil und unser beliebtester Front-Wing im Sortiment. Das hohe Volumen und die grosse Oberfläche, in Kombination mit der mittelhohen Streckung (AR) machen es sehr fehlerverzeihend und einfach zu pumpen und weit zu fliegen, selbst bei sehr niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten (5 km/h). Dadurch ist es sehr einfach, nicht nur Dockstarten und Pumpen zu lernen, sondern auch Wing und Wind Foilen.
