Stab

Foil stabilisers from Indiana, North Sonar, Slingshot and KOLD, to tune how your foil behaves without changing the front wing.

Big or small stab?

  • A big stabiliser makes the foil steadier and gives more lift: ideal for progressing, pumping and light wind
  • A small stabiliser frees up the foil: more speed and sharper turns

A new stab costs far less than a new front wing, and already changes how the foil rides.

Compatibility

A stabiliser fits a fuselage from the same system: North Sonar with Sonar, and at Indiana depending on the range (HP, FM or standard). North Sonar stabs come with their cover.

How to choose your F-ONE stabiliser

The stabiliser (the rear wing) sets the balance, pitch stability and overall behaviour of your foil.

Big or small stab?

  • Big stab: more stability and lift, easy and forgiving flight, easy pumping — ideal for beginners and small conditions.
  • Small stab: freer, faster, more agile and radical — for experienced riders, waves and racing.

Tuning and consistency

Many stabs adjust in incidence (shims) to fine-tune the front/rear balance. For consistent behaviour, match your stab to your front wing — ideally from the same F-ONE family.
