The stabiliser (the rear wing) sets the balance, pitch stability and overall behaviour of your foil.

Big or small stab?

• Big stab: more stability and lift, easy and forgiving flight, easy pumping — ideal for beginners and small conditions.
• Small stab: freer, faster, more agile and radical — for experienced riders, waves and racing.

Tuning and consistency

Many stabs adjust in incidence (shims) to fine-tune the front/rear balance. For consistent behaviour, match your stab to your front wing — ideally from the same F-ONE family.
