The Stabilizer 550 is designed for maximum stability and pumping performance. Its winglets deliver maximum yaw and roll resistance, and the optimised profile distribution and outline curve prevent ventilation. It is supplied with a quality protective cover. Building a complete foil takes seven steps: choose one of six front wings, one of three stabilisers, one of two fuselages, the set of angle adaptors, one of three mast lengths and the mount that matches your board.
The stabiliser (the rear wing) sets the balance, pitch stability and overall behaviour of your foil.
Many stabs adjust in incidence (shims) to fine-tune the front/rear balance. For consistent behaviour, match your stab to your front wing — ideally from the same F-ONE family.
