📘 How to choose — your buying guide
On a wingfoil board, volume is the number-one criterion: it determines how easily you stand up and how stable the start is.
What volume? (by level)
- Beginner: your weight (kg) + 30 to 40 L. E.g. 80 kg → 110–120 L. You start floating, seated or kneeling.
- Intermediate: weight + 10 to 20 L.
- Advanced / competitor: weight ± 0 or below (sinker boards, water start).

Width, outline & construction
A wide board is more stable at the start; a narrow, short board is more agile in flight. For construction, carbon makes it lighter and livelier (better pumping); bamboo/PVC builds offer great value and toughness to start.

Das brandneue Le Doigt Wing/Downwind Foilboard ist ein neues Konzept, das die Technologien des Downwind Paddle Foiling und Wingfoiling kombiniert.
Steeve wollte ein Board, mit dem er nicht nur auf flachem Wasser hochpaddeln konnte, sondern auch bei leichtem Wind mit einem Wing auf den See fahren konnte.
Das Le Doigt hat eine kompaktere Form im Vergleich zu reinen Downwind-Boards. Das macht es verspielter, da das Swingweight reduziert wird, was wiederum härtere Carves ermöglicht und ein ausgewogeneres Gefühl vermittelt beim Wingfoilen. Das Recessed Deck verlagert das Volumen zu den Rails und ermöglicht es dem Rider, tiefer im Board zu stehen, was mehr Stabilität und eine direktere Verbindung zum Foil verleiht. Da es auch ein Wingfoil-Board ist, kann es mit Straps gefahren werden, da es Inserts für die Standard-V-Strap-Konfiguration und auch einen Tragegriff im Unterwasserschiff hat.
Das Le Doigt Wingfoil-Board wird mit Boardbag, Straps und Hardware geliefert.
