The Flow FW boards are designed for riders who demand a performance‑oriented foil board with maximum control, precision, and versatility. The Flow Freewave shape focuses on a very direct board‑to‑foil connection, a confident stance, and predictable handling, allowing riders to push their limits in demanding wing foiling conditions.
The Flow FW 65 Carbon is the smallest and most compact size in the Flow Freewave range. It is designed for lighter or highly skilled riders who want the most responsive and agile board possible for wave‑ and freestyle‑focused wing foiling. This size delivers a very immediate and reactive ride feel, ideal for technical manoeuvres and high‑performance sessions.
The Flow FW 65 Carbon measures 4'8 1/8 in length, has a volume of 65 litres, a width of 22', a thickness of 4 3/8', and a weight of 5.2 kg. The recommended rider weight range is 50–85 kg.
The redesigned drop‑deck geometry positions the front foot slightly higher than the back foot, creating an extremely direct feel to the foil. This geometry allows efficient power transfer when pumping, driving through turns, and loading the foil during jumps. The deck features a pronounced concave in the front section that tapers smoothly towards the tail, locking the rider into position while still allowing natural stance adjustments.
The Tear‑Drop Outline concentrates width and volume under the front foot, where stability and control at higher displacement speeds are most important. At the same time, the very narrow tail section ensures instant release and tight carving without the board hanging up on the water. Straight rails transitioning into a rounder nose reduce wind resistance and keep handling calm and predictable, even in strong winds.
The optimised volume distribution is tuned for performance, with just enough volume in the tail to allow active back‑foot control without compromising release. This setup supports aggressive freestyle riding, technical wave manoeuvres, and precise foil control.
The hull is completely flat and clean, flowing into a slightly squared pintail. This combination delivers fast planing, clean release, and an immediate pop‑up once speed is built. A subtle rocker helps with smooth touchdown recovery and keeps the board manageable in challenging conditions.
