To fine-tune the front wings of your Indiana foil, we offer shims that adjust the angle of attack. Reducing the angle by one degree lowers the pressure on your front foot and raises the foil's top speed. That suits pump foiling particularly well, because it reduces the foil's lift and therefore the effort required from your front leg. Weight: 11 g. Material: aluminium, CNC machined and anodised, colour black.
The stabiliser (the rear wing) sets the balance, pitch stability and overall behaviour of your foil.
Many stabs adjust in incidence (shims) to fine-tune the front/rear balance. For consistent behaviour, match your stab to your front wing — ideally from the same F-ONE family.
