Big or small stab?
- Big stab: more stability and lift, easy and forgiving flight, easy pumping — ideal for beginners and small conditions.
- Small stab: freer, faster, more agile and radical — for experienced riders, waves and racing.
Tuning and consistency
Many stabs adjust in incidence (shims) to fine-tune the front/rear balance. For consistent behaviour, match your stab to your front wing — ideally from the same F-ONE family.

Which MONOBLOC TAIL CARVING size to choose?
Size (code + surface) affects rear lift and liveliness. Bigger surface = more stable and more lift; smaller = livelier and more radical in the turn.
- XXXS 160 — the liveliest: radical surfing, small front wings, experienced riders.
- XXXS 180 — balanced: a good compromise between manoeuvrability and hold.
- XXXS 200 — more lift: stability and carving for most setups.
- XXS 200 — the most stable: maximum lift and hold, large front wings and progression.
