The PLANE SK8 is the surf & carving foil that put surf foiling on the map: a balanced profile between glide and manoeuvrability to rip the wave, pump back to the peak and carve hard. Wingtips designed to hit the whitewater without ventilating — surf foiling as much as playful wing.
The surface area (cm²) is chosen by weight, wind and waves: small = lively and fast; big = early take-off and easy flight in small conditions.
Each size comes with its matching Monobloc Tail Carving (shown in the option). Monobloc carbon construction = stiffness and responsiveness.

The heavier you are or the lighter the wind, the more surface area (cm²) you need to take off early. The lighter you are or the more powered you are, the smaller you can go for more speed and control. When in doubt as a beginner, size up: a foil that takes off early dramatically speeds up learning.
F-ONE offers several constructions (aluminium, carbon, monobloc…) that affect stiffness, weight and price. Carbon offers the best reactivity and a feather weight; aluminium remains excellent value for getting started.
