The ROCKET FREE SURF is an F-One surf foil board. Surf foiling calls for a short board and a carefully judged volume: too much and the board stays stuck to the surface, too little and getting going becomes hard. On a wingfoil board, volume is the number-one criterion: it determines how easily you stand up and how stable the start is.
A wide board is more stable at the start; a narrow, short board is more agile in flight. For construction, carbon makes it lighter and livelier (better pumping); bamboo/PVC builds offer great value and toughness to start.
