A large surface combined with a low-drag profile makes the 1150 DWR front wing an extremely efficient light wind tool. It covers a wide range of use, from light wind windfoiling and wingfoiling through to cruising downwinders. Building a complete foil takes seven steps: choose one of six front wings, one of three stabilisers, one of two fuselages, the set of angle adaptors, one of three mast lengths and the mount that matches your board.
To start wingfoiling you need three well-matched elements: a board, a foil and a wing. Well matched, they get you up to speed fast. Here's the essential.
Aim for volume = your weight (kg) + 30 to 40 L to start (e.g. 80 kg → 110–120 L). Wide and stable. See the board guide →
