North designed the SF series for very low stall speeds, effortless pumping and surf-style carving — ideal for riders who want to catch more surf and more downwind swell, with or without a wing.
The revised angle of attack of the foils means you do not have to be an expert or have perfect pumping technique. A refined balance between roll stability and manoeuvrability gives you the confidence to pump and lift off. Turbulence is a thing of the past, and the reduced distance between mast and front wing delivers faster, tighter turns.
North deliberately kept the character similar across the three sizes, so the ride feel stays the same throughout the range: smooth glide at low speed, responsive and agile, with intuitive recovery.
The SF680 suits wing, kite and wake foiling.
Suitable stabilizers: S185/S215/S142/S192, or S208/S145v2 for advanced riders. Cover included.
